Daniel Müller Jansen

Daniel Müller Jansen is a German photographer and artist. He studied at the University of the Arts Bremen and completed his degree with honors under Prof. Peter Bialobrzeski in 2009. At this university, he was also supported by the founders‘ lab Professionals in the Arts. With a grant from Senator für Kultur Bremen, he realized together with other graduates the exhibition and book project KILL YOUR DARLINGS, which was exhibited at the Städtische Galerie Bremen and published by Kerber in 2011. From 2015 to 2016 he participated in a dialogue project to promote diversity in art at Lebenshilfe Braunschweig. In 2019, his third photographic series was awarded by the European Architectural Photography Prize and was exhibited at the German Museum of Architecture in Frankfurt. His work was further shown at Kunstraum Potsdam, Focke Museum Bremen, Kunstmuseum Bochum, and Kunsthaus Wiesbaden. He has presented his work at numerous festivals for photography, such as the F/STOP in Leipzig, Darmstädter Tage der Fotografie, and the London Festival of Photography. His works are included in first collections like Focke Museum Bremen, DAM – Deutsches Architekturmuseum in Frankfurt, Art Collection Emschergenossenschaft, and Städtische Galerie Bremen.
